How we handle your data

Mental-health data is sensitive. This page describes how the platform actually handles it.

Before launch: This is an engineering description of current data handling, not a lawyer-reviewed privacy policy. It must be reviewed against Nepal's Individual Privacy Act and any jurisdiction you operate in before launch.

What we collect

To book a session: your name, email, phone, timezone, and the session details you enter. If you book for someone else, their name, age and relationship to you.

Optionally: what you are seeking help with, preferred language, counsellor gender preference, urgency, and whether you have had therapy before.

Who can see it

Your booking is visible to you, to the practitioner assigned to it, and to platform staff administering the service. Free-text you write is shared with your practitioner only if you tick the consent box — otherwise it stays with the booking record.

Booking without an account

You can book as a guest. If you later create an account with the same email, your previous bookings are linked to it automatically. If you never create one, the booking stays reachable only through its reference and private token.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by contacting us. Deleting a booking record does not delete a practitioner's own clinical notes, which they retain under their professional obligations.
